Oregano is an extremely popular herb to grow, and for good reason! The small, delicate leaves boast a warm flavor that is well appreciated in many Italian and Mexican dishes. The leaves can be used fresh or can be dried for later use — dried oregano actually has tastes stronger than fresh! This perennial herb produces tiny pinkish flowers that attract beneficial pollinators to the yard, making this a great plant to have in the yard year-round.
