Danish Ballhead is an heirloom variety of cabbage that is well loved for its ability to be easily stored after harvest. The large, blue-green heads can grow upwards of 8-10 inches in diameter and weigh in at about 5 pounds. Danish Ballhead is great for eating raw in salads or spring rolls, cooking in stir fries or soups, or pickling into sauerkraut or kimchi.
