Radishes are an incredibly rewarding veggie to grow, especially for new gardeners, as they go from seed to table in less than 4 weeks! This is a lovely, elongated radish with a rosy blush at the top and fading to a bright white tip. The mild flavor of this radish lends itself well to salads and dips for fresh eating, but also tastes delicious when roasted. To extend the amount of produce grown, consider sautéing the leafy tops or making them into a pesto!
