Also known as ‘Scotch Flag,’ this Scottish heirloom leek resembles a giant scallion, with bulbs growing around 2 to 3 inches in diameter and stalks easily reaching a foot in height. The mild flavor of the Giant Musselburgh leek is delicious when roasted with other vegetables, or added to soups and stews. This leek is especially cold hardy, and is very slow to bolt.
