Cabbage is such a versatile vegetable that lends itself well to raw or cooked dishes, and makes itself the star ingredient in recipes from all over the world. We especially like to grow the Golden Acre cabbage in our garden because the plants are compact, allowing for denser planting. The small heads grow to 3-5 inches in diameter and are ready to be harvested earlier than most varieties available.
