This 19th century heirloom is renowned for its exceptional flavor. Growing to 18-24 inches in height, Golden Self Blanching celery is, as you might have guessed, self blanching — the tall stalks are a creamy yellow-white color, that grow in a tight cluster to protect themselves from sunlight. This variety of celery lacks the springy fibers found in many other celeries, making it one of our favorites to enjoy in soups, or right out of the garden with some peanut butter!
