This tasty cucumber, although technically a type of melon, produces crisp, sweet fruits that can grow quite large! They can easily grow over two feet in length and are best flavored when harvested at about 12 inches. When grown on the ground, Armenian yard-long cucumbers take on interesting, twisted shapes, but when grown on a trellis, will typically be much straighter and more uniform. We enjoy eating these in salads, on sandwiches, or sliced and eaten with a sprinkle of salt.
