Onions are ubiquitous in our kitchen — they seem to make an appearance in nearly every dish! We especially love the Red Grano onion when we want to enjoy a slice of raw onion on a sandwich or in a salad. These medium sized, short day onions are mild and sweet, adding a special onion-y flavor to a dish without overwhelming it. Onions take a long time to mature, but can always be harvested early to be used as “green” onions.
