Named for their habit of turning to face the sun, sunflowers have earned their spot in our summer gardens year after year. Sunflowers can grow to all different heights and can be a rainbow of colors, but we specifically love the Sunspot variety for its traditional yellow petals and short growing habit. The giant 10-inch flowers grow on compact stalks that only grow to 2-3 feet in height. This shorter size makes Sunspot ideal for children’s gardens or windy areas where taller sunflowers might topple over. Bees love these sunflowers as much as we do!
