Named after the famous nineteenth century pea breeder Thomas Laxton, this pea has become a favorite variety for home gardeners around the world. The 3 foot long vines produce heavy yields of sweet and delicious peas. While these heirloom shelling peas are excellent for enjoying in soups, curries, or stir fries, we can’t help but eat them in the garden, right off the vine!
