This interesting winter squash produces large, 7-pound fruits that are often enjoyed as a substitute to traditional flour-based spaghetti noodles! Unlike summer squash that needs to be eaten right away, winter squashes can be stored for months after harvest. For a spaghetti-like consistency, simply cook, then fluff the flesh with a fork and serve with your favorite pasta sauce. This is an especially fun veggie to grow with kids.
